Friday Footnote # 140

Ysgrifennwyd gan A.R.Fairbank@swansea.ac.uk / 28/7/2023

Each week we share loads of content amongst Team ION and with our network. Content that inspires us, which we find helpful, or just makes us smile. We thought we would start sharing these insights every Friday. Welcome to Friday Footnote. In this week's edition we focus on our partnership with Tokio Marine.

Developing a team of team leaders with Tokio Marine

This week's #FridayFootnote is a Tokio Marine special. We have a new blog about the work we have done with Tokio Marine HCC over the last 12+ months, a new film where we catch up with Managing Director Ian Rowles and delegates from programme 1, Chloe Buttle and Gavin Howells. And then we look forward to next weeks graduation ceremony with our 2nd group of team leaders.

In our latest blog, as we release our first of four short films with Tokio Marine (see below), we thought it would be a great opportunity to explain a bit more about the bespoke programme we have ran with Tokio Marine.

Next Tuesday we are really looking forward to celebrating with our latest set of team leaders at the Llanerch Vineyard. After a morning of reflection, and celebration of what each of the delegates individually, and as a group, have achieved, we will be joined by members of the Tokio Marine management team for lunch and an afternoon of activities, presentations of the delegates 'live' change projects, and the graduation ceremony itself. Fingers crossed for good weather!

Keep an eye on our social channels next Tuesday for all the latest from the graduation, and over the coming weeks for further chats with Ian, Chloe and Gavin.

'The activities and way of learning is totally different to anything I'd ever done before'

Hannah_Booth.jpgIn our latest alumni case study we caught up with Hannah Booth (pictured right) from the Magnolia Centre for Health & Wellbeing in Neath to find out more about her business, why she decided to take part in our leadership programme, her key takeaways, and the impact her ION experience had on both her and her business.
