5 things you may not know about ION

Leadership Development specialist Kim Talbot shares 5 things you may not know about ION.

100% virtual delivery until 2022

How does that work? We deliver via Zoom, so provided you live or work in one of the convergence areas in Wales, you can continue your leadership journey with us.

Learning from the comfort of your own home

Because we are delivering virtually throughout 2021, you can learn from the comfort of your own living room. We have traditionally always delivered face-to-face so all delegates have met in venues across Wales. Travel is no longer required. And because we are virtual, there is further opportunity to mix with other delegates outside of your local region.

Work-Life Balance

When we delivered face-to-face we used to get together for a full day. Now that we are delivering virtually, our sessions are half-days, keeping screen time manageable and of course, this means you can lunch with colleagues or family and catch up with your work in the afternoons.

Highly interactive sessions 5_things_1.png

Our programmes are highly interactive, with excellent qualification attainment and the feedback from our virtual delegates has been amazing so far. But don't just take our word for it. Here are just two pieces of recent delegate feedback:

"It's a fantastic programme and a great experience! I have already taken so much from ION after only 3 meet-ups. A fantastic group of leaders!" Siobhan Parry - Head of Service, Children & Young People, Plattform

"I am delighted to be part of the latest cohort on the ION leadership programme. I am thoroughly enjoying getting to know like-minded, passionate leaders. The bi-weekly meetings are thoroughly enjoyable and it doesn't feel like learning. The incredibly knowledgeable, but also great fun, leadership team are taking us on this roller-coaster learning journey" Sue Poole, 2B Enterprising

We're fully-funded

Now we are sure you probably already know number 5, but it's definitely worth mentioning again. We are delighted that, thanks to WEFO, we are able to offer our programmes fully funded until the end of March 2022. Therefore, all programmes currently on our website are fully funded.

And we are adding new ILM Level 3 (New Leaders) and Level 5 (Leading Growth) programmes regularly to meet demand so keep an eye out on our social media channels, and the courses page of our website for details of upcoming programmes.
