Friday Footnote # 136

Ysgrifennwyd gan A.R.Fairbank@swansea.ac.uk / 23/6/2023

Each week we share loads of content amongst Team ION and with our network. Content that inspires us, which we find helpful, or just makes us smile. We thought we would start sharing these insights every Friday. Welcome to Friday Footnote.

In nearly 14 years, we have supported almost 2000 individuals, in over 1000 business, to become extraordinary leaders.

Next Tuesday (27th June) our Swansea team are hosting the Looking Back, Looking Forward event at the Swansea University Great Hall on the Bay Campus.

We have this week finalised the agenda (see right) for what promises to be an exciting day. And in typical LEAD / ION style, it includes plenty of time for experiential learning activities.

For everyone who has signed up so far (over 100 to date), 'Welcome Emails' were sent out earlier this week. Haven't signed up yet? If you are interested in finding out more, and joining us on the 27th, you can sign up here.

Planning & Implementing Change with Tokio Marine

4.jpegOn Tuesday we had a great day with team leaders from Tokio Marine HCC on their latest leadership masterclass - this time discussing 'Planning & Implementing Change'.

After chatting through the SWOT Analysis' they completed for their part of the business, the delegates then discussed resistance to change and the emotional cycle, factors to consider when implementing change, and how to implement and plan change.

In a few weeks time, the delegates will get together again, this time to discuss team dynamics.

If you are interested in finding out more about how we can work with you and your business to develop the people within your team or organisation, get in touch with Adam Fairbank on ionleadership@swansea.ac.uk
