Friday Footnote # 130

Ysgrifennwyd gan A.R.Fairbank@swansea.ac.uk / 19/5/2023

Each week we share loads of content amongst Team ION and with our network. Content that inspires us, which we find helpful, or just makes us smile. We thought we would start sharing these insights every Friday. Welcome to Friday Footnote.

In the last 12 years, we have supported over 1700 individuals in the Welsh business community to become extraordinary leaders. On Tuesday 27th June our Swansea team are hosting the Looking Back, Looking Forward event at the Swansea University Great Hall on the Bay Campus.

The invitations to all of our alumni, LEAD Wales and ION leadership, and our friends and industry partners, have gone out this week.

Havent' seen your invitation yet? It might be worth checking your 'Other' folder or 'Junk Email' folder, just in case the invitation has accidentally gone in there. If you haven't received an invitation yet, and are interested in attending, please contact Adam on ionleadership@swansea.ac.uk.

During the day attendees will have the chance to hear from our amazing alumni, and members of the ION team, who will share their thoughts on the programme, hear from guest speakers, and find out more about how Swansea University can support businesses across Wales.

There will be many opportunities throughout the day to network with our alumni, former team members and industry and university partners.

Keep an eye out on our social media channels, and upcoming Friday Footnotes, for further updates on the event, including speaker announcements.

The event will provide a great opportunity to develop your learning, with a great line-up of inspirational speakers and breakout sessions. There are a number of breakout sessions scheduled throughout the day including; harnessing employee engagement, the secrets of becoming a high performer, and creating a culture of continual improvement.
