Friday Footnote # 120
Each week we share loads of content amongst Team ION and with our network. Content that inspires us, which we find helpful, or just makes us smile. We thought we would start sharing these insights every Friday. Welcome to Friday Footnote.
Q&A with ION alumni Alice Reynolds
We recently had the pleasure of catching up with Alice Reynolds, Manager at Ropeworks Active, an outdoor activity centre and high ropes course based in beautiful Llanberis, North Wales. In our latest Q&A, Alice tells us more about her business, what attracted her to our leadership programmes, and how the programme benefited her personally. Check out the Q&A on our website.
Talking innovation & entrepreneurship with MIT
On Friday afternoon Adam will be attending an M-SPARC webinar, in partnership with MIT, to discuss innovation and entrepreneurship. Phil Budden from MIT Management will be discussing why now is the time for innovation entrepreneurs. There is (probably) still time to sign up.
ION on tour. Come and say hello.
As we discussed in last weeks #FridayFootnote, ION are going 'on tour' in ther next few weeks.
On March 3rd, the Swansea University Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences are running a networking event, hosted by Welsh broadcaster (and drummer) Owain Wyn Evans, which will help showcase the benefits of collaborative research and development projects, with a focus on how to communicate with prospective partners. Through the medium of speakers and workshops, the session will help encourage potential ideas and knowledge exchange with the goal of forming productive, meaningful collaborations.
And on March 29th we are delighted be attending the 4theregion Swansea City Centre Conference again, this time with friends and colleagues from Swansea University, who are proud headline sponsors of this years event.
Make sure you come and say hello.
