Friday Footnote 61

Written by A.R.Fairbank@swansea.ac.uk / Friday 13th August 2021 / ION leadership news, / Blog posts

Each week we share loads of content amongst Team ION and with our network. Content that inspires us, which we find helpful, or just makes us smile. We thought we would start sharing these insights every Friday. Welcome to Friday Footnote.

Swansea City partnership goes into extra timeION_1.jpeg

We were delighted to confirm last week that we have extended our partnership with Swansea City for the 2021/22 season. As Silver members of the Swansea City Business network, we will have pitchside advertising within the Liberty Stadium and be sponsoring a first-team player, as well as a number of other benefits including match sponsorship and programme advertising. You can find out more about the partnership in our News section.

Best of luck to Russell Martin, and everyone else at Swansea City, for the upcoming season. We'll be cheering you from the stands.

Latest alumni case studyHappydays_Nursery1.JPG

Nicola Hotchkiss recently graduated from our Leading Growth programme. 7 years earlier, Nicola's boss Debbie Forrest also graduated from our programme, although this was in the LEAD Wales days.

In our latest alumni case study, we catch up with Debbie and Nicola of Happy Days Childcare Wales, based in Milford Haven, to discuss their leadership journeys.

Become an extraordinary leader

We were delighted to announce recently that, thanks to the European Social Fund, we are able to extend the period whereby our leadership programmes are fully funded. Programmes that start before the end of March 2022 will be fully funded. You can find out more about our latest programmes on our courses page.

We will be taking a short break from #FridayFootnote next week, but we'll be back in a few weeks time.
