Swansea City partnership goes into extra time

Written by A.R.Fairbank@swansea.ac.uk / Wednesday 4th August 2021 / ION leadership news

We are delighted to extend our partnership with Swansea City AFC, as a silver member of the Swansea City Business Network, for the 2021/2022 season.

ION_2.jpegDriven by the local businesses, the network aims to build a network of relationships between businesses in the local area with a common interest, Swansea City.

ION Programme Lead Suzanne Parry Jones is thrilled with the news:

“We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Swans. As we continue to develop extraordinary leaders across Wales, the partnership has had a huge impact on our brand awareness and has enabled us to engage with a number of prominent local businesses. We can't wait for supporters to get back in the stadium and we have everything crossed for a hugely successful season, on and off the pitch for both ourselves and the Swans”.

As part of the membership, ION will have pitchside advertising within the Liberty Stadium and be sponsoring a first-team player, as well as a number of other benefits including match sponsorship and programme advertising.

"We are delighted to continue our partnership with ION leadership. They stand for a great cause in developing leaders for the future, driving forward productivity, which aligns with our beliefs. We are very much looking forward to working with them for the forthcoming season" said Swansea City's Head of Commercial, Rebecca Edwards-Symmons (pictured with Kaye Harris-John and Adam Fairbank from ION).

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Swansea City for their cooperation, particularly Katie and Rebecca, and wish them good luck for the upcoming season.

Up the Swans.
