ION become ‘Friend’ of TEDxSwansea

We are very happy to announce that this year ION Leadership will become a ‘friend’ of TEDxSwansea.

In its fourth year, we are delighted to have spent the last few weeks talking with the TEDxSwansea team and look forward to working with them on what will be a fantastic celebration of ideas at the National Waterfront Museum.

TED is a global foundation devoted to ‘ideas worth spreading’ and a platform and movement focused on meaningful change through the power of ideas.

ION Leadership, led by Swansea University, supports managers, business leaders and entrepreneurs to develop high quality skills through a targeted leadership programme. Their programmes aim to raise productivity in the workplace whilst enabling participants to experiment with different leadership styles, and learn how best to implement the latest thinking, strategies and best practice into their business.

Steve Stokes, Director at TEDxSwansea feels it is a perfect partnership. "There is a great synergy between TEDxSwansea and ION. Through TEDxSwansea we aim to celebrate the innovators and creators within our region, giving them and their work a platform on the global stage. TEDxSwansea takes place on Saturday 2 June but you don’t need to wait until then to find out more about ION leadership. Our next Leadership Conversation takes place in Port Talbot on Thursday 3rd May where attendees will hear from successful business leaders on how they have grown their businesses.
