Event Summary
Chwarae Teg and ION Leadership have recently announced a joint leadership development programme which starts in January 2019.
The programme will focus on developing the essential skills required for managers and leaders in organisations across Wales and places particular emphasis on developing the leadership skills required to facilitate business growth. All delegates who complete the programme also receive an ILM Level 5 qualification.
In the lead up to the programme we will be running a series of ‘Women in Leadership’ events which we would love you to attend to find out more about the programme, hear from both Chwarae Teg and ION Leadership, as well as hear from inspiring successful female business leaders.
Taking place during Global Entrepreneurship Week, at this event you will hear from 2 successful female entrepreneurs:
Rayner Davies, A & R Cleaning – Starting as a small ironing service run by Rayner in 2008, the business had quadrupled in the last 2 years alone and now employs over 160 members of staff and has over 200 regular contracts.
Sally Smith, Swansea Garages – Established in 2005, Swansea Garages is a local family run business, providing low cost, secure, self-storage for domestic and business customers across Wales.
Rayner and Sally have taken part in the LEAD Wales / ION Leadership programme and will be able to provide valuable insights
Delegates will also hear from Chwarae Teg Strategic Delivery Lead Hayley Dunne and ION leadership Programme Manager Jo Bishop and will also take part in an interactive session to get a taster of ION Leaderships experiential learning style.
We have limited capacity at this event so tickets will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. If you reserve a ticket but are unable to make it, please let us know so we can allocate the ticket to another delegate.
