Aberystwyth ION Leadership Event

Event Summary

ION leadership offers intense, engaging and effective new courses tailored for people with different levels of leadership experience and has worked with over 130 business leaders in North Wales over the last two years. The ION leadership programme is led by Swansea University in partnership with Bangor University and is part-funded by up to 70% with £2.7million from the European Social Fund through Welsh Government.

The New Leaders programme is designed to develop and enhance the leadership and management skills of Team Leaders, Supervisors and aspiring/new Managers who are in the early stages of developing their leadership skills. The programme concentrates on transferring knowledge and skills that enable growth and sustainability for their organisations and this will be the first time it is being run in Aberystwyth.

The preview event will provide an excellent opportunity for you to:

• Hear from the team and develop a greater understanding of the successful ION leadership programme;
• Meet with other businesses who have already completed a similar programme in Aberystwyth (LEAD Wales) and the benefits of such a course;
• Find out how you can get involved and/or benefit from the programme.
