Friday Footnote #22

Ysgrifennwyd gan A.R.Fairbank@swansea.ac.uk / 25/9/2020

Each week we share loads of content amongst Team ION and with our network. Content which inspires us, which we find helpful or that just makes us smile. We thought we would start sharing these insights every Friday. Welcome to Friday footnote!

Adult Learners Week

We're #alwayslearning at Team ION. This week is Adult Learners Week, a campaign that 'aims to inspire and encourage thousands of adults each year to continue education and skills development in a wide variety of forms and helping to raise awareness of the value of adult learning by celebrating the achievements of learners and providers and inspiring more people to discover how learning can positively change their lives'.

Throughout the week we have delved into our blog archive to highlight the power of learning:

We are huge advocates of reflective learning. This week our very own Jill Davies from the Swansea team produced a short film (right) explaining what reflective learning is and how you can become a reflective learner.

Inspiration

Each week we trawl social media to find articles which inspire and interest us, and which we can learn from.

Become an extraordinary leader

Spaces are booking up quickly on our upcoming leadership programmes, with programmes scheduled in for Swansea, Bangor and Bridgend. Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, our programmes will start online, until we are able to deliver face-to-face.

Don't forget, we can now offer our leadership programmes fully-funded until the end of August 2021. A number of our programmes are currently fully booked but check out our courses page to find out more about upcoming courses and get in touch with us if you have any questions.
