Friday Footnote # 20
Each week we share loads of content amongst Team ION and with our network. Content which inspires us, which we find helpful or that just makes us smile. We thought we would start sharing these insights every Friday. Welcome to Friday footnote!
Successful innovation is a collaborative process
"Innovation has to be fostered and facilitated by leaders and managers within a business in order for ideas and suggestions to be developed".
In our latest blog, Gary Walpole discusses why successful innovation is a collaborative process. The blog includes links through to a number of video interviews filmed at the Bridgend Ford Innovation lab which was developed off the back of delegates completing the Developing Organisational Innovation programme in 2019.

#WednesdayWalk (on a Friday!)
We're huge advocates of the great outdoors and the important role it plays in helping us manage our wellbeing, as well as allowing us time to reflect. As discussed in the The power of the pause article above, 'Reflection is thinking about things. Think about your behaviour, what’s working and what isn’t. Think about possibilities and opportunities to get a clear view of the opportunities you want to seize. Think about relationships. Relationships are the great sustainers in life'.
This summer, team ION members have been sharing their favourite walks on our Facebook page. Here they all are, in one place.
The list includes a recent blog from our Bangor based Programme Manager Gwenllian discussing her North Wales adventures.
