Friday Footnote #19
Each week we share loads of content amongst Team ION and with our network. Content which inspires us, which we find helpful or that just makes us smile. We thought we would start sharing these insights every Friday. Welcome to Friday footnote!
Inspiration
What's piqued Team ION's interest this week?
- 4 easy ways to upgrade your workday (TED)
- Will office life ever be the same again? (BBC Ideas)
- If your innovation effort isn't working, look at who's on the team (Harvard Business Review)

Not your average networking session
After a week off to recharge the batteries, our weekly ION Open Doors networking session kicked off again this week. The kids going back to school, the importance of decision-making based on evidence as opposed to opinion, and advice on getting more sleep were just a few of the topics discussed.
ION Open Doors was developed as a method of keeping in touch with our network during lockdown, and the feedback from the sessions so far has been awesome.
This week our Marketing Manager Adam wrote about why ION Open Doors is not your average networking session.
Fancy joining us? The sessions run every Thursday at 11am so come and join the conversation.
This is also a perfect opportunity to revisit our very own networking guru Kaye Harris-John's recent blog, where she re-visited a blog she wrote a few years ago to see how traditional networking measures up against today's ‘new normal’ of virtual networking.
