Friday Footnote #16
Each week we share loads of content amongst Team ION and with our network. Content which inspires us, which we find helpful or that just makes us smile. We thought we would start sharing these insights every Friday. Welcome to Friday footnote!

- Zoom fatigue is real - here's why video calls are so draining (TED)
- Getting to grips with Zoom as a learning platform (ION blog from team member Tony Burnett)
- How do you know a good leader when you see one? They will do any of these 5 things (Inc)
- Work continues on new role for Port Talbot's famous Plaza Cinema (Neath Port Talbot County Council)

Perfect day off
Our Marketing Manager Adam had a couple of days off this week. An afternoon visiting the sunflowers at Rhosilli (in the chucking down rain!) was followed by a day spent surfing at Rest Bay in Porthcawl. This led to a discussion in this week's ION Open Doors session about the perfect day off in Wales.
The beautiful beaches of Wales were a recurring theme, with Saundersfoot, Marloes, Newgale, Three Cliffs and Newport Beach all getting a shout. There were also mentions for Gower, Pembrey Country Park, Lake Vyrnwy and the Brecon Beacons.
We are huge advocates of taking time off to re-charge the batteries and have a chance to reflect, as well as the obvious benefit to our mental health of getting away from the computer and getting outside. With such a beautiful landscape on our doorstep, it was fantastic to hear our guests talk so passionately about the places they love. Where would you spend your perfect day off in Wales?
