Company Profile

Set up by Nicola in 2000, Easybooks provides friendly and flexible assistance in all areas of financial management. It is particularly attractive to the smaller business that can enjoy professional expertise at an affordable cost.

Having started the business from home in 2000 and seen it grow and employ people, I recognised I had areas in my leadership skills that needed improving. I felt the need to focus more on how I ran my business.

The main impact of my journey was recognising how far I had already come in my business. I had been working hard with my head down, quite unaware of the progress I had made. The programme gave me the time out of the business, thinking about various aspects and deciding what was working well and what needed improving. Sometimes it is difficult to recognise and appreciate your own success and talents when you run your own business, but LEAD helped me to learn that it is good to do that as well as focussing on the areas for improvement. The varied programme of listening, sharing with colleagues and laughing was both enjoyable and beneficial to me personally as well as my business.

I feel so much appreciation for what I have achieved so far and this drives me to achieve more. My business has purchased its own offices and our turnover is up by over 30% on the year prior to completing the programme. I gained confidence in what we offer as a business (being special, as well as efficient and professional), which now makes me feel proud to be on this business journey. My "little front room business" mentality has melted away at last!
