As the global pandemic eases, and the world emerges from covid restrictions, Celtest Company Limited, a Llandegai based construction materials testing company, have learnt the importance of constantly adapting to meet ever-changing operating conditions.

Celtest_3.JPGEchoed across many sectors, Celtest has experienced a HR rollercoaster ride over the last two years. Some employees used the pandemic to reflect on their career, subsequently deciding to leave to pursue other roles, whilst Celtest also gained many new recruits from other sectors also looking for a change in career.

Jason Chinery, Operations Manager at Celtest recognises both the challenges and the opportunities that this brought.

“Whilst we did lose valued team members and skills, we also had an excellent opportunity to develop our new – and existing – workforce. Many of the new employees joined us from the hospitality sector, bringing with them new skills, viewpoints, and experience. They have settled into their new roles well and are still with us today”.

Celtest recognises the strategic importance of staff development and has a long-standing relationship with ION leadership, with several senior and middle management completing their programmes. Jason continues; “Celtest continues to invest in all our staff, providing a range of internal and external training opportunities that deliver technically competent people, while looking to set clear pathways for development. As one of the leading construction materials testing companies in the UK, equipping our team with the appropriate leadership skills is key to enabling our employees to thrive within resilient and dynamic teams”.

“Celtest is excited to sponsor the upcoming ION leadership graduation event and with four Celtest managers receiving their ILM certifications, it will certainly be a great way to celebrate their achievements” added Jason.
