Friday Footnote # 73
Each week we share loads of content amongst Team ION and with our network. Content that inspires us, which we find helpful, or just makes us smile. We thought we would start sharing these insights every Friday. Welcome to Friday Footnote.
Fancy a financial health check?
We were delighted to be joined at this week's #IONOpenDoors learning event by Danni Wats-Jones, Managing Director of DWJ Wealth Management. Danni is also a recent graduate from our Leading Growth leadership programme.
During a hugely insightful session, Danni provided practical hints and tips on everything from research and development tax relief and being a more ethical business, to the importance of risk assessments (not just financial!) and financial planning.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the session, and to Danni again for her time and for sharing her knowledge and experience with us.
Keep an eye on our social media feeds for future learning events.

Do you want to become an extraordinary leader?
Last week we announced details of our latest ILM Level 3 leadership programme, starting in May 2022. Our New Leaders programme is designed to develop and enhance the leadership and management skills of owners, entrepreneurs, leaders, managers and supervisors who are in the early stages of developing their leadership skills. The programme concentrates on transferring knowledge and skills that enable growth and sustainability for their organisations.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we currently aim to deliver this programme through a blended approach, with sessions split between face-to-face sessions, and virtual delivery via Zoom.
Interested? You can find out more on our website, or if you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch by emailing ionleadership@swansea.ac.uk.
We also still have spaces available on our last remaining fully funded ILM Level 5 Leading Growth programme. You can find out more about our latest programmes on our courses page.
