New virtual learning opportunities launched

Written by A.R.Fairbank@swansea.ac.uk / Wednesday 29th April 2020 / ION leadership news

At ION we are big believers in always learning. We are therefore delighted to announce our schedule of virtual learning opportunities.

AlwaysLearning.pngThese are unprecedented times. Everyone at ION wants to ensure that we are able to support not only our amazing Alumni but businesses across Wales, where we can. But we also don't want to pretend that we know what support people needed.

We surveyed and spoke to our Alumni to ask them what support they needed and have developed a month's worth of virtual learning opportunities, for both our Alumni and businesses across Wales. Future opportunities will be developed based on feedback from these upcoming sessions.

Swansea based Programme Manager Suzanne Parry Jones is delighted with today's news. "Our traditional method of delivery is face-to-face. The current lockdown has therefore driven us to look at doing things differently, and I am very happy that the team have developed this schedule of virtual learning opportunities. This means that not only will our delegates have the opportunity to continue learning, but our team members will also learn new ways of delivering, in a virtual world".

All of our scheduled events are available for booking on both our website and via Eventbrite, and details can be found below. Spaces are limited so booking will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Keep an eye on our website and social media platforms for further event announcements.
